Therapeutic Modalities
ART:  Accelerated Resolution Therapy

"Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is a unique approach to psychotherapy. ART is unique because the ART Therapist guides the client to replace the negative images in the mind that cause the symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other symptoms with positive images of the client’s choosing. ART incorporates a combination of techniques used in many other traditional psychotherapies. ART works directly to reprogram the way in which distressing memories and images are stored in the brain so that they no longer trigger strong physical and emotional reactions. ART accomplishes this through the use of rapid eye movements similar to eye movements that occur during dreaming."
For more information click the ART button below, and check out the informational videos on the "Education" tab.
CBT:  Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

CBT is a form of psychotherapy that through talk therapy focuses on becoming aware of, understanding and changing patterns of thinking and underlying core beliefs that contribute to challenges with depression, anxiety, trauma, and other mental health related difficulties.
Other Therapeutic Modalities

Other therapeutic modalities I draw from in session may include strength based approaches, person centered, Gestalt, trauma focused, play therapy, solution focused, Christian counseling, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing).
